Things we ask you not to bring or do. Please read the house rules before you arrive at Hampton Pool

Things you can’t bring

  • Glass or ceramics
  • Sharp knives (inc. cheese knives)
  • Alcohol – a fundraising licensed bar is onsite
  • Drink – other than sealed plastic bottles of water, carbonated soft drinks or sealed cartons of juice.
  • Illegal substances
  • Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
  • Disposable barbeques, Candles, Chinese or sky lanterns, or laser pens
  • Unauthorised professional film or video/audio equipment
  • Animals (other than registered guide or hearing dogs)
  • You may not bring larger folding tables or non-folding furniture – but you may bring folding picnic tables and folding picnic chairs

All the above items will be confiscated but can be collected at the end of the evening. Anyone resisting confiscation of disallowed items may be evicted.

No glass or alchohol to be brought on site


All public and working spaces onsite are no smoking, including all stages. This includes electronic cigarettes.

If you do smoke, please go to the designated smoking area and use the butt bins to dispose of your cigarette ends.

Under age drinking

If you look under 21, you will not be served alcohol unless you can prove you are over 18 by presenting ID (UK Driving Licence, Valid Passport). If you don’t want to bring your passport or driving licence, use a PASS ID. See pass-scheme.org.uk for details.


You should not seek to create an “encampment” in the middle of the body of the audience with your folding picnic tables and chairs.

Please respect your fellow audience members and move to the front if you want to stand prior to the interval.

Any person behaving inappropriately will be required to leave the concert.

After the concert

Please respect our neighbours at the end of the evening by leaving Hampton Pool quietly.

Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts Terms & Conditions

  1. The following items are not allowed in the venue:
    • These are licensed premises and you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into Hampton Pool
    • As this is a swimming pool, sharp knives (including cheese knives), ceramics, glass and/or bottles are not allowed onto the premises under any circumstances. This also applies to disposable barbeques, candles, Chinese or sky lanterns, or laser pens
    • Any illegal substances
  2. For your security, we will be conducting bag searches before entry and any items noted above will be confiscated.
  3. Licensed bar, BBQ and food will be available with all major credit and debit cards accepted.
  4. If driving, please park considerately.
  5. You may bring folding picnic chairs and tables, but not larger folding tables or non-folding furniture. You should not seek to create an ‘encampment’ in the middle of the body of the audience.
  6. NO SMOKING ALLOWED (including e-cigarettes/vaping).
  7. Ticket purchaser bears all risks of inclement weather.
  8. The responsible adult must be in possession of a child ticket for children aged between 4 and 12 years old (on the date of the concert). Infants aged 3 or below may attend free of charge and no ticket is necessary. In all cases, we would recommend the use of ear defenders for young children.
  9. Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled before the first performance starts due to adverse weather conditions. No other refunds/exchanges will be given.
  10. Ticket user assumes all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the event. Ticket user also accepts responsibility for loss, injury or damage to property. However nothing shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other type of liability that can’t be limited or excluded by law.
  1. Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue, any of these terms & conditions and applicable laws.
  2. This ticket cannot be replaced if it is lost, stolen or destroyed and is valid only for the event for which it is issued.
  3. This ticket is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  4. Reproduction of this ticket is not permitted.
  5. Ticket user consents to the use of his/her image or likeness, incidental to any video display, transmission or recording of the event by venue, artist or promoter.
  6. The use of cameras, video or audio recording equipment including smartphones is prohibited.
  7. Unauthorised or unlawful resale or attempted resale of tickets is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation.
  8. This ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or other trade purposes without the express written consent of the venue.
  9. This ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the face amount of the ticket.
  10. Fake or counterfeit tickets are void.
  11. Gates may open up to 20 minutes before advertised starting time.
  12. No readmittance to the venue after initial entry at the main gate.
  13. No animals (except guide dogs) allowed into the venue.
  14. We reserve the right to introduce any government or local authority mandated Covid 19 requirements / restrictions in place on the date of the event.
